You want to be sure you’re working with a reputable property agency – after all, you’re renting property in a country where you (probably) don’t speak the language and this makes your property search more difficult. With this in mind, we’d like to take a moment to reassure you on a few key points:

When it comes to renting property we understand you want to feel safe - as you would expect, all our properties are fitted with smoke alarms (in case of fire) and carbon monoxide alarms (in case of gas leak) and have EU standard energy performance certificates as required by law. Heating, gas and electrical systems in all QED properties are regularly serviced. We take your safety very seriously.

You want to know you’re with a rental agency you can rely on - if there’s a problem and you ask for it to be fixed you don’t want to wait for weeks. We promise to fix any problem in any QED property within a maximum of 72 hours. If it’s an emergency, we’ll fix it within 24 hours.

You want to know your caution money / security deposit will be returned to you when you leave – provided you hand back the keys to the property and it’s clean and in the original condition and you’ve paid your bills – you get your security deposit back – it’s our guarantee to you. No tricks, no games and no last minute disappointments.

You want to know you’re not overpaying for utilities (gas, water, electricity and Internet) – at QED Property you only pay for what you consume according to utility meter reading and official utility company calculations. No hidden charges and no extra costs to you.

In case you need a visa to stay in Hungary or a residency permit we provide official documentation you may need for the property free of charge.

All our rental contracts are written in plain English and in Hungarian (for tax and accounting purposes).
